Layla Khamoushian is the founding attorney of Khamoushian Law Group, a U.S. immigration law firm based in Los Angeles, California. She represents individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals in a wide range of complex immigration matters, including family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, employment-based visas, and removal defense.
Known for her meticulous preparation and strategic advocacy, Ms. Khamoushian has successfully guided clients through high-stakes cases involving asylum, waivers, extraordinary ability petitions, and other nuanced areas of immigration law.
Ms. Khamoushian earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2004, and she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UCLA. Since 2005, she has been admitted to practice law in California and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Her practice, influenced by her own journey as an immigrant, is distinguished by a client-centered approach that combines rigorous legal analysis with clear communication and compassionate support, ensuring that each client fully understands their options and the path forward.
Layla is also passionate about wellness and has served on the Health and Wellness Committee of California Lawyers Association for many years and has participated as a panelist for other organizations, speaking on lawyer wellbeing. She is an avid yoga practitioner, meditator and enjoys traveling. Layla speak fluent Farsi (Persian) and is conversational in Spanish.
